Onward
The next thing your project needs, and nothing else.
Onward is in active development for iPhone & iPad. It is not yet available for download.
What Onward does
Most task apps assume you work on one thing until it is finished. Real projects are not like that. You put the deck rebuild down for three weeks, come back on a free Saturday, and spend the first hour just remembering where you stopped and what was blocking you.
Onward exists to remove that hour. For each project it tracks a single thing: the very next action. Not a backlog, not subtasks, not a burndown chart — just the one step that moves the project forward, written by you while the context is still fresh in your head.
Planned for launch
Features described here are in development and may change before release.
One next step
Each project holds a single next action. When you finish it, you write the next one and move on.
A note to future you
Capture where you left off and what you were thinking, so picking it back up costs seconds instead of an hour.
Mark what is blocked
Flag a project as waiting on something, so it stops competing for attention until it can actually move.
Gentle nudges
Optional reminders for projects that have gone quiet — a nudge, not a guilt trip.
Deliberately small
No projects-within-projects, no tags to maintain. The app should take less effort than the work it tracks.
