This Privacy Policy describes how Tally ("we", "our", or "the app") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application.

Tally is a puzzle game that respects your privacy. We are committed to being transparent about what data we collect and how we use it.

All analytics data is collected anonymously through Firebase Analytics and cannot be used to identify you personally.

2. Game Center Data

If you choose to use Game Center features, Apple collects and stores:

• Gameplay Content: Your scores, solve times, achievements, and leaderboard rankings
• Game Center ID: Your Game Center player identifier

This data is linked to your Game Center account and is governed by Apple's Game Center terms and privacy policy. Game Center is optional - you can play Tally without signing into Game Center.

3. Local Device Storage

We store the following data locally on your device:

• Game Statistics: Your cumulative game stats (total wins, all-time best streak, best times per puzzle size)
• App Preferences: Your settings, such as whether ads are enabled
• Game Progress: Current puzzle state and undo/redo history

Your cumulative statistics are stored only on your device. However, individual game performance data (such as how long a specific game took, your current streak at the time of that win, and actions taken during that game) is sent anonymously to Firebase Analytics for app improvement purposes, as described in section 1 above.

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

1. Improve Gameplay: Understand which puzzle sizes are most popular, how players use hints, and where players might struggle
2. App Performance: Monitor solve times and game performance to ensure a smooth experience
3. Feature Development: Identify which features are used most to guide future development
4. Gaming Services: Enable Game Center leaderboards and achievements (optional)

Data Sharing and Third Parties

Firebase Analytics (Google)

Future Advertising (Google AdMob)

• Ads will be clearly marked and optional where possible

   • You can choose not to sign into Game Center to avoid sharing gameplay data with Apple

   • Analytics data: Contact us to request deletion of any associated analytics data
3. Opt Out of Future Ads: If ads are implemented, you may be able to disable them in the app settings

Children's Privacy

Tally does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app does not require account creation or personal information to play. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

• Local data is protected by iOS security features
